Where is the Library’s temporary location?
In the lower level of the Seniors Centre located at 30 Fisher St, King City and accessible from the King City arena on Doctors Lane, King City.
Will the Library have Children’s Programs?
Yes, programs will take place in the upper level of the King City arena on Doctors Lane, King City. Check our website, social media or the branch for more information on which programs are offered and when.
What times will the Library be open?
Regular business hours:
Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturdays 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sundays from October to May 1 – 4 p.m.
Will there be work space?
Where can I return my Library items?
To the temporary location during business hours, drop box will be available outside of operation hours.
What Collections are we bringing?
We are taking roughly 30% of our collection, materials include:
- Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction
- Children’s Fiction and Non-Fiction
- Young Adult
- Magazines and Newspapers
- Select Local History
Will the Library have Wi-Fi?
The temporary location will continue to offer the same free Wi-Fi that you are able to use now.
Will I still be able to access eBooks and other electronic resources?
Yes, all our electronic resources will remain unaffected by the construction and temporary location. Feel free to access these resources as you normally would.
